iBus//Mobile is the industryТ‘s first and only JMS solution for mobile devices. iBus//Mobile connects Java (J2ME) applications on mobile devices straight-through to your J2EE application server! This product uses industry standards to communicate reliably and efficiently from device to device, from device to server, and from server to device! The communication models offered by iBus//Mobile are end-to-end JMS message queuing, publish/subscribe, and request/response. SoftwiredТ‘s iBus//Mobile is a robust and highly scaleable Java Messaging Platform for wireless devices geared to help you save development time and create highly interactive, scalable wireless applications today. iBus//Mobile takes care of ALL the issues associated with unreliable Networks. This means the programmer does NOT have to program "resends", sequencing or the store and forwarding of application data. iBus//Mobile connects to the FULL Spectrum of wireless devices, from the low-end WAP/SMS phones, to MIDP/SOAP devices (e.g. Motorola-Accompli) to the high end communicators such as the Nokia 9210, thus future proofing your mobile solution. On the device side, iBus//Mobile supports the J2ME standard (CLDC, CDC, MIDP, PDAP), PersonalJava, as well as the J2SE platform. iBus//Mobile was tested on PalmOS, PocketPC (iPAQ, Jornada), on Linux, as well as on various Java-enabled phones (MIDP). On the server side, iBus//Mobile plugs directly into various stand-alone JMS providers (e.g., iBus//MessageServer) as well as into various J2EE application servers (e.g., BEA WebLogic). By using iBus//Mobile, you can develop network-aware, mobile Java applications in record time. Your mobile applications become highly interactive (push, pull, broadcast, multicast, transactions), fully reliable (Guaranteed delivery of application data. Disconnected operation when your device loses network coverage. Transparent synchronization of on-device message queues), and highly secure (Access control, as well as end-to-end security through SSL, Certicom, BouncyCastle, third-party PKI solutions, etc.).
